Creating an anonymous account is simple and only takes a few steps. You won’t be asked for your name, email or other personal details.

We'll ask you to answer your security question if you forget your username or password.

So it's a good idea to pick something you'll remember.

Your account lets you post on the Childline website. Using your account means you agree that

you'll keep your username and password private
Childline will check your posts, images and mood journal entries to make sure you're safe
you'll follow the house rules for posting on the message boards and image gallery

Childline is confidential. But if we think your life is in danger, we might need to tell someone else.

After you turn 19, your account will still be here but you won't be allowed to post anymore.

Your username will be something you’re asked for every time you sign into your account. So it’s important to remember and to keep it private.
